What does A2 mean?
A2 is the second CEFR level. It means you can understand frequently used phrases about things that matter directly to you (personal info, family, work), and communicate in simple, routine tasks.
What you'll be able to do after A2
- Manage your appointments (doctor, bank, administration)
- Talk about your family, your job, and your hobbies
- Understand simple notices and paperwork (a bill, a lease)

The A2 exam
