What does B1 actually mean?
B1 is 'independent user' — the point where you can deal with most situations while traveling, describe experiences and events, and give brief reasons for your opinions and plans, without needing to think in your own language first.

The B1 exam
At the end of the level, a mock exam built in the style of B1-level exams like IELTS or Cambridge B1 Preliminary — 4 skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking.
