Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident subscribing to Lerniyo. If the product isn't the right fit for you, you can request a refund under the terms below.
Eligibility
- First-time individual subscribers (Basic, Pro, or Pro Max) can request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase.
- Annual plans are refundable within 14 days on a pro-rated basis if you've already used part of the term.
- Renewals are not automatically refundable. If an auto-renewal charge surprised you, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we'll review on a case-by-case basis.
- School and institutional plans have separate refund terms defined in the service agreement signed at purchase.
How to request a refund
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Refund request".
- Include the email address associated with your Lerniyo account and the approximate date of purchase.
- Tell us briefly why you're requesting a refund — we read every message and it helps us improve.
- We'll confirm within 2 business days and, once approved, issue the refund through Stripe.
After a refund is issued
- The refund appears on your original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Your subscription is cancelled immediately and premium features stop working.
- Your account, progress, and vocabulary are kept so you can continue on the Free plan or re-subscribe later.
- Any issued certificate remains valid — refunds don't revoke earned qualifications.
Cancellation vs refund
Cancelling stops future billing but leaves you access through the end of the current period. Nothing is refunded.
Refunding reverses the last charge and ends access immediately. You can do either from your account settings, or by emailing us.
Exceptions
We may decline a refund if the account shows clear signs of abuse — e.g., a single user creating multiple refund requests across different emails, using the service heavily then requesting a full refund, or fraudulent chargebacks. These are rare; in normal cases we approve refunds.
